    Professional Background.
    I have 23 years experience of working in mental health, both in the NHS and in tertiary services. I originally trained as a mental health social worker, working with adults with severe and enduring mental disorders. I qualified as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist at the University of Kent in 2011 and have worked primarily in the NHS since then. . I have 23 years experience working within the NHS in mental health settings as a mental health social worker. Since qualifying as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist at the University of Kent, I have continued to work within the NHS. I have working in various settings including in my role as a psychotherapist in a therapeutic community for people who have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.

  • Working in a Therapeutic Community setting with adults with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Currently working in the NHS in partnership with the National Probation Service, to provide consultation for psychologically informed Thinking around working with offenders.

  • Working with professionals to provide group supervision and reflective practice in organisations.
